Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform the treatment of aqueous solution without impairing the quality of water by eliminating the cracking and clogging of filter membrane layer by using a filter membrance layer consisting of an entangled agglomerate of fibrous ion exchange resin and finely granular ion exchange resin.
CONSTITUTION: A fibrous cation or anion exchange fiber D 2W200μm in diameter with a length more than 2 times the diameter and a fine granular ion exchange resin A are entangled with each other in water, and then the entangled agglomerate thus obtained is precoated on the filtering supporter 11 to form the filter membrane layer 12. And, an aqueous solution is passed through the filter membrane layer to remove colloidal substances or suspended solid substances and treated water is obtained. Then, the filtering supporter is washed reversely with an gas, water, or a mixture of gas and water to peel off the used filter membrane layer for removal.
