Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit oil flow without a jumping phenomenon in case of closing or opening of a flow port by forming a fine orifice with a small bore in a balance piston to give a clearance between the piston and the internal surface of a valve casing, which throbs to and fro in the casing.
CONSTITUTION: When a cargo on a floor is unloaded, a hydraulic cylinder 2 compresses oil in it which is pushed to run through a primary flow port 3, fixed orifice 9, hole 10, and secondary flow port 5 into an oil tank 4. While the oil passes through the orifice 9, the pressure difference between upstream and downstream makes a balance piston 9 move to the left side up to a point where the downstream pressure is in balance with a force of a spring 8. At early compression of the cylinder too much oil may be rushed out to cause an overrunning of the piston 7 to the left side.
