Abstract
PURPOSE: To form anodic oxidation films on long-length objects of intricate shapes with less power consumption by supplying positively charged solution to long-length materials such as of Al or Al alloy and supplying solution even flexible materials whose surfaces are rubbed.
CONSTITUTION: A box of an anode contact device 1 is made by the plate material comprising covering a carbon plate 10 with a lead plate 11. A plurality of the contact devices comprising mounting conductive flexible materials 12 even such as of carbon wool or the like to the materials similar to the above are installed to the bottom of said box. A long-length material F made of Al or Al alloy is passed through the underside of the anode contact devices 1A and 1B disposed on both sides with the cathode chamber 2 at the center. The anode contact devices are connected to the positive electrode of the power source 9 and the cathode chamber 2 to the negative electrode. The positively charged solution such as of sulfuric acid, chromic acid, etc. is supplied by the slits S and carbon wool 12 of the anode contact devices. In the cathode chamber 2, the negatively charged solution is injected to the Al material F, whereby an electric circuit is formed. The Al material F is oxidized by the positively charged solution, whereby the anodic oxidation films are formed on its surfaces.
