Abstract

PURPOSE: To recover H2 gas only reusable as atmospheric gas by a method wherein substituted gas discharged from a bell type sinter-treatment apparatus for producing W, Mo, etc. is classified at specified time intervals and treated for recovery.
CONSTITUTION: When powder mold body setting in a treating bottle 1 is completed, H2 gas is supplied into the bottle 1 from pipe 1. Air in the bottle is passed through pipes 6, 6b, enters a second impurity removing liquid tank 9, and is discharged through gas outlet pipe 11 into the air. A given time after start of gas substitution, three-way valve 8 is changed so that H2 gas from pipe 6 is sent to a first impurity removing tank 9a. H2 gas removed from impurity is measured for contained oxygen by an oxygen analyzer 17. Gas whose oxygen content is lower than the reference value is cleaned in the H2 cleaning tower 16; gas contg. oxygen more than the reference value is discharged outside through valve change 15 and pipe 10b.
