Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a stable and safe emulsion by mixing hydrophilic cane sugar fatty acid ester, polyvalent alcohol, and fats-and-oils, then dispersing into water.
CONSTITUTION: Hydrophilic cane sugar fatty acid ester, polyhydric alcohol, and fats-and-oils such as fluid paraffin, and, as required, polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester as HLB regulator are mixed and formed into a uniform solution. The solution, if dispersed into water, is easily dispersed and forms fine emulsion. The process can be applied to all types of fats-and-oils, providing fine, stable, and safe emulsion, by use of only a small amount of additives.
