Abstract
PURPOSE: To accomplish the air diffusing function and the sewage return function in a purifying tank by a mechanism wherein the greater amount of a sewage passed from an aeration chamber to a precipitation chamber is recirculated to an aeration tank through a draft and an air diffusing device within a central chamber portion is positioned by a recirculating circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A sewage supplied from an inflow pipe 26 is filled in an aeration chamber 5 and a compressed air supplied from a blower is injected upwardly from diffusing pores of a gas diffusing device main body 44 through an air supply pipe 16. Therefor, the greater part of a sewage in a lower portion of a chamber 5 is raised from an opening 20 into a draft 21 by a diffused air jet stream and the recirculating stream designated as an arrow is generated and the closely pressurized sludge in a lower portion of a precipitation chamber 10 is returned to a chamber 5. Subsequently, the sewage entered into a chamber 10 is separated into a sludge and a supernant herein and the supernant is passed from an overflow port 22 along a water collecting trough 52 within a water collector 23 and collected within a holder 53 for a chemicals cylinder. The inflow supernant is disinfected by a chemicals in a chemicals cylinder 24 and stored in a disinfecting chamber 26, subsequently discharged from a outflow pipe 27.
