Abstract

PURPOSE: A resin composition that is made by adding a nonionic surfactant and an alcoholic plasticizer to an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin, thus showing high moisture condensation prevention, high moisture permeation properties and having high heat-sealing properties and gas-permeation resistance.
CONSTITUTION: Said composition comprises (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin of 25W60mol% ethylene content and more than 90mol% saponification degree, (B) 0.1W3wt%, based on the complymer (A), of a nonionic surfactant of 4W15 HLB value and (C) 0.5W10wt% of an alcoholic plasticizer. The ethylene- vinyl alcohol copolymer loses the transparency, when the ethylene content exceeds 60mol%, and lowers and melt moldability and heat-sealing properties, when becomes lower than 2.5mol%. When the HLB value of the surfactant is smaller than 4, water does not expand enough on the surface of the film and exceeding 15 loses the durablity of moisture condensation prevention.
