Abstract

PURPOSE: To hold the pressure of a high-pressure fluid down without causing hunting, by the action of an orifice and a braking relief valve which can be separately set for pressure depending on the direction of movement in no matter what operating condition a fluid pressure actuator is.
CONSTITUTION: Circumferential grooves 51b, 51c are provided near the center of an internal hole 51a of a main body 51 and communicate with motor connection ports AM, BM through internal passages. Other circumferential grooves 51d, 51e are provided outside the former grooves 51b, 51c and communicate with valve seat holes 51h, 51k of a check valve and with connection ports AV, BV coupled to ports A, B of a directional control valve. A spool 62 is fitted in the internal hole 51a so that the spool can slide in the axial direction. The spool 62 has a central land 62a and a right and a left lands 62e, 62d. The lands 62d, 62e are provided with holes 62h, 62k extending from both the ends of the lands. The front ends of the holes 62h, 62k communicate with opposite recesses 62c, 62b through oblique holes.
