Abstract

PURPOSE: To supply uniform fuel mixture to cylinders, by setting a fuel injection valve on a center projection line which symmetrically divides branch pipes of a manifold into two divisions.
CONSTITUTION: An engine 10 is connected with branch pipes 18 and a fuel injection valve 7 is set in a position shown by the arrow in a primary air supply shell 11. The center projection line 15, dividing the branch pipes 18 symmetrically, passes through the fuel injection valve 7 and the center of primary and secondary air supply shells 11, 12 are set at right angles to the projection line 15. Accordingly the suction air flow and the fuel flow are easily and uniformly mixed with each other in a mixing chamber 8, and the mixture is uniformly distributed to four branch pipes 18.
