Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When copying by skipping part of the original, a selector switch SW1 is connected to a relay RY1 side to start copying, the contacts 1a1, 1a2 are closed, so that rotation of a photosensitive drum and movement of an original platen commence. As a result, a lead switch SW2 is closed, and a latching relay RY3 is set, and contact 3b1 is opened, stopping current supply to the charger for charging. Then a contact 3a1 is closed, and a timer T starts to operate, then a solenoid SL1 is set to ON after a specified time lag. The operating timing of the switch SW2 will stop the charging while the line skipping of the original is desired, and no image is formed on the drum if the photosensitive drum and original platen continue to move.
