Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to measure the grounding resistance of a closed circuit network even when the engagement of cores of a transformer for injection is poor or the output level of an oscillator varies, regardless of these matters, by providing a feedback loop in the transformer for injection use.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a feedback loop increasing or decreasing a voltage e1 supplied to an injection coil NP by a voltage e3 generated in a feedback coil NF. The voltage e1 is made variable and the voltage e3 is controlled to a predetermined value. A voltage injected in a closed circuit network CL does not vary even when air gaps of divided ends 11 and 12 of cores CO1 and CO2 of a transformer CT1 or the output level of an oscillator OSC and the gain of an amplifier vary, and constantly assumes a predetermined value. Accordingly a current iX is proportional to a resistance RX to be measured, and the resistance RX to be measured can be correctly measured by the voltage e2 of the transformer CT2 for detection.
