Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive and highly-stable function generator with a miniaturized part which influences its precision, by reducing parts in number by using a digital circuit. CONSTITUTION:A function shape generated by data setter 1 is stored at an specific address of data memory 2. As for the address of memory 2, clocks generated by clock generator 10 are counted by address counter 11, whose output is used as an address signal. The output of memory 2 is latched by registers 3A and 3B in turn with the output of AND gate 8 as a latch signal. Subtractor 5 subtracts the output of selector 4B from that of 4A and the difference is inputted to D/A conventer 6. Converter 6 converts the digital signal into an analog signal, which is integrated by integrator 7, whose output is a function output. When intervals of time of set points of the function shape are not equal, switches S1 to S5 change the time constants to obtain the constant output value.
