Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the accuracy of detection, by connecting each cathode opposing to anode being fabricated by piano wire or tungsten wire, with the resistors of the lst and the 2nd groups, each of whose output ratio corresponds to the positions where electrolytic dissociation is generated.
CONSTITUTION: On the proportion counter 1, formed in semicircular shape, supporting anode 2 being fabricated by piano wire, etc.,having vacuum inside and the both ends thereof are insulated rings 3.3, are installed a number of cathodes 4... which oppose against anode 2. Each of these cathodes is connected to the common terminals 7.8 whose other ends are actually grounded thru R1' and R1, R2' and R2....etc., which are the resistors of the resistor group of the 2nd group featuring parallel connection, and the output ratio of terminals 7.8 corresponds to the position of cathodes 4.... of the portion where electrolytic dissociation is generated. On the other hand, owing to this fabrication, anodes could be formed by metal wire of larger diameter, unnecessitating the use of stays, etc., on the portion except the both ends, without the fear of the generation of disturbance of generated electrolytic dissociation, rendering detection more precise in its accuracy.
