Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to prevent a double-shock sound by temporarily stopping the functions of an amplifier circuit when the power supply is turned ON, by providing two start circuits.
CONSTITUTION: With a power switch ON, 1st and 2nd start circuits 5 and 6 start operating at the same time and transistor TRQ24 of a 1st constant-current circuit and TRQ18 of a 2nd constant-current circuit both turn OFF, so that a power amplifier circuit will stop to function. As a result, a voltage at output terminal 8 is free until capacitor C8 is charged by start circuit 6. Therefore, no steep waveform appears at terminal 8 until a set voltage with switch 9 ON, generating no shock sound. In addition, even turning switch 9 OFF and then ON causes no steep waveform to appear at terminal 8. In this way, a double-shock sound can completely be prevented from being generated during the continuous ON-OFF operation of switch 9.
