Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a lubricant composition with excellent extreme-pressure properties and lubricating property, by dispersing a solid resin graft polymer composite powder obtained by subjecting a vinyl monomer and a powdery solid lubricant to graft polymerization in a lubricant base material.
CONSTITUTION: The lubricant composition is obtained by dispersing solid resin graft polymer composite powder obtained by subjecting a vinyl monomer (e.g.; vinyl chloride, acrylic acid or the like) and a powdery solid lubricant (e.g.; MoS2, talc or the like) to the graft polymerization in a lubricant base agent such as a lubricating oil or a grease. Herein, said solid resin graft polymer composite powder contains the powdery solid lubricant of which a surface is coated with said vinyl polymer and shows excellent compatibility with said lubricant base agent and is made extremely easily miscible. As a result, even when it is added in an amount of about 1wt%, the lubricating agent with enhanced friction factor and loading property is obtained.
