Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a load compensating circuit for a variable frequency inverter by supplying a terminal voltage approximately responsive to a load on a motor. CONSTITUTION:The input DC current of an inverter is inputted through a DC current detector DC-CT to a proportional amplifier OP1. The output of the amplifier OP1 will vary approximately in proportion to the speed when a torque is constant. The output from the amplifier OP1 is inputted through an analog switch SW to a proportional amplifier OP2. The analog switch SW is conducted during a period inversely proportional to the speed. The output of the amplifier OP2 becomes a signal depending only upon a torque irrespective of the speed, is averaged by a filter F, and is added as a compensating input to the input side of a voltage regulator 4. A terminal voltage prepared by considering the torque is applied to the motor.
