Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the measurement of flow rate per unit time, by providing a read-only memory in which flow rates per unit time corresponding to the revolution speeds of a runner are previously stored.
CONSTITUTION: The rotation of a runner is changed into pulses, which are transmitted to a terminal 20. An AND gate 21 or 22 is opened to integrate the pulses by a counter 23 or 24. A flow rate per unit time, which is obtained from a read-only memory 27 and corresponds to the integrated value, is applied to a latch circuit 29 through an output line 28. The flow rate output is latched by the circuit 29 and displayed through a BCD-7 segment conversion circuit 38. A reset circuit 32 is controlled through a signal line 39 to clear the counter and the latch circuit 29. These operations are effected by timing signals 51W55 from a timing generation circuit 31 as shown in the figure. Gates 21, 22 are alternately opened at timing applied by timing signals 50, 53. Said procedure results in easily measuring the flow rate per unit time.
