PURPOSE:To facilitate checking the delivery of print-outs by providing multiprinting solenoid-incorporated wire drive with flat upper side in semicircular form in order to ensure better visibility of printing condition and by lessening front height of the printer. CONSTITUTION:Current corresponding to printing signal is made to flow selectively into coil of printing solenoid through flexible cable 8 and flexible PC board 27. By driving printing wire 11, dot printing is conducted on paper P on the platen 5 through inke ribbon 9. Printing head 2 reciprocates along platen 5. Because the wire drive 13 of printing head 2 has flat upper side in semicircular form, it is extremely easy to make visual inspection of printing condition.
