Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase heat collecting and accumulating efficiency, by disposing a ring-shaped heat transmitting unit in a heat collecting unit in the form of a hexagonal column, and disposing a pair of cylindrical heat accumulating tanks on the inside of said ring-shaped heat transmitting unit, so that the solar heat can be absorbed from three driections. CONSTITUTION:The heat collecting unit is shaped in the form of a hexagonal column. Light transmitting plates 1, 1' are fitted in three faces (southeast, south and southwest) of the heat collecting unit located on the side exposed to the sunlight, whereas combined reflector plates 2, 2' made of a FRP plate and an aluminum plate bonded to the inner surface of the FRP plate. They are coupled with each other by connecting members 3, 3'. Inside the heat collecting unit, there is disposed a ring-shaped heat transmitting unit which is composed of a pair of doughnut-shaped concentrated pipes 4, 4' of copper pipes and many heat transmitting pipes 5, 5' extended between the upper and the lower concentration pipes. Further, inside the heat transmitting unit, there is disposed a pair of cylindrical heat collecting tanks 6, 6' made of FRP pipes or the like, which serve as heat accumulating section. These tanks 6, 6' and the ring-shaped heat transmitting unit are communicated to each other by upper and lower connecting pipes 7, 8.
