Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit the cooling of an electric dust collector in a short time for raising its economical efficiency by introducing an open air through the midway of a duct for waste gas.
CONSTITUTION: In the operation of the sintering equipment 1, an atmosphere suction valve 8 is closed and the dust collection of a high-temperature waste gas G is performed, where the opening degree of a damper 6 is regulated by a controller 9 on the basis of the detected value of a flow meter 7 in order to optimize the flow rate of gas inside the electric dust collector 3. After the stoppage of operation, when opening the air suction valve 8 by the controller 9, the inflow of gas from the sintering equipment 1 into the electric dust collector 3 is almost stopped because of the large resistance of fluid and a comparatively low-temperature air is introduced into the air suction valve 8 to cool rapidly the inside of the electric dust collector 3.
