Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce working time and make the work easy by coating paints of two or more colors while checking the film thickness in a see-through state at the time of overlay-painting said paints.
CONSTITUTION: Beforehand, the paints to be coated are coated on sample plates or the like and the relations between the states when the ground surface become invisible and coating film thicknesses are inverstigated. Coating is performed while checking visually that a desired film thickness is assured for every layer from the see- through state of each layer by contrasting with the color of the sample plate at each film thickness or other color sample. The paints are, for example, polyurethane system, acrylic resin system and epoxy resin system. Even the paints of clear finishes may be used as far as they are colored, for example, they are turbid in the state of a wet film. The covering power of paints is controlled by using suitable coloring materials, for example, coloring pigments, dyes, etc. and adjusting the amounts of addition.
