Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the processing capability of a unit, by performing the function, which detects the state change of a subscriber, independently of the CPU in the subscriber's circuit scanning system which detects on and off-hook state change of the subscriber in the electronic exchange unit. CONSTITUTION:In case of detection for state change of the subscriber, date channel DCH receives the total number of a series of orders transmitted from CPU CC to subscriber scanner SCN, the start address of the transmission order group on main memory unit MM, and the start address of the table where scanning results in the preceding period are stored. Channel DCH reads orders from unit MM and transmits them to scanner SCN and receives scanning results and compares them with scanned results in the preceding period on unit MM and detects noncoincidence to store scanning results in unit MM for detection of coincidence between them. As a result, the function to detect state change of the subscriber is performed independently of CPU CC, so that the processing capability of the unit can be improved.
