Abstract
PURPOSE: To move a platform to an optional position by connecting a float body via a lever to a platform supported by extensible feed for floating the platform on the surface of water.
CONSTITUTION: A plastform 1 is supported by extensible legs 3. A float body 7 with a ballast tank is connected on one end of a lever 5 connected to the platform 1 on another end. Besides, a tracting mechanism 8 to draw up the float body 7 is provided on the platform 1, and energy-absorbing mechanisms 9a and 9b are respectively provided to these connected parts of the lever 5. For towing a wave- power energy absorbing device with this construction to another place for setting, at first, the water in the ballst tank of the float body 7 is discharged, and the float body 7 is drawn up to the under face of the platform 1. Then, legs 3 are drawn upward by the operation of jack-driving parts 4, and the platform 1 and feet 3 are floated on the surface of water by the float body 7 to be brought in tow to another place for setting.
