Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an exact and smooth operation of shifting a speed control and a pressure control which are performed by opening or closing a steam governing valve, by detecting respective position of levers of control systems at a specific position by means of a location detector.
CONSTITUTION: In case of governing a pressure, a pressure governor 16 is operated, with a spring 31 pulled at full length by a speed relay 18 which rests at its upper limit position so as to fully open a steam governing valve 5. At the time, a lever 30 and a removing lever 32 are joined and moved together by an operation of the pressure governor 16, which make lever mechanisms 20, 21 close the steam governing valve 5. In anothr case of governing a speed, with the pressure governor 16 set at the lowest pressure, a load limiter 25 is operated to reciprocate the relay 18 to perform a speed control. At this time, said pressure governing system remains inoperative so that the lever 30 is not moved. Thereby, both governing sytems may be shifted by connecting the lever 30 with a location detector 60 which is provided for the lever 32.
