Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve reliability for starting gas turbine equipped with a starting steam turbine, by providing a valve and an accumulator in a control oil line communicated to a control valve controlling servo-mechanism and also providing a valve in steam supplying line.
CONSTITUTION: Three-way valve 19 and accumulator 20 are provided in a control oil line 22 through which pressure oil is supplied to servo-mechanism 11 of control valve 10 for controlling amount of steam to be supplied to gas turbine starting steam turbine 2. When revolutional speed of steam turbine is raised to about 20% of the revolutional speed of gas turbine 1, rotation detecting relay 15 is set into operation and three-way valve 19 is switched by means of electromagnetic actuator 18, whereby pressure oil is supplied to servo-mechanism 11 and revolutional speed is raised resultantly. By closing valve 8 at the self-operated speed of gas turbine 1, steam turbine can be stopped smoothly. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to eliminate fluctuation in the torque required for starting gas turbine, fluctuation in pressure of control oil and drastic change in revolutional speed of steam turbine.
