Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the sealing effect of a rotary fluid machine which provides rotors with different shafts that have the envolope sliding surface by mounting a side seal in the side casing.
CONSTITUTION: An expansion and contraction chamber 6 is formed with the envelope sliding surface 7 of the internal and external rotors 3 and 2. A side seal 10 is provided in the side casing 8 which is jointly combined with the rotor 2. The side seal 10 is provided to connect between the locations which are opposed to two peak regions in which the external rotor 2 is adjacent. The side seal 10 maintains the airtightness of the expansion and contraction chamber 6 and prevents fluid from being leaked from the sliding surface of the internal rotor 3 and the slide casing 8. This can obtain an excellent sealing effect.
