Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to confirm whether hollow parts exist in concrete or not from the mold frame external to obtain a sure concrete material, by giving an elastic wave accompanied with intrinsic vibration of concrete to the mold frame outside face and by measuring the vibration frequency of air dependent upon this elastic wave.
CONSTITUTION: Bowl-shaped material 7 of elastic materials such as rubber having a vibration preventing effect and a sound shielding effect is mounted on the tip of barrel-shaped part 2 of investigating unit main body 1, and this bowl-shaped material 7 is caused to adheve closely to the outside face of concrete surface finishing material mold frame B, and by pulling trigger 4, a slight impulse is given to the outside face of mold frame B, which faces internal space S of bowl-shaped material 7, by the tip of striking bar 6, and an elastic wave accompanied with intrinsic vibration of concrete A is generated by this impulse. This air vibration is sensed by sensor 8, and the output is amplified in 9 and is analyzed by comparison between itself and data, which is stored previously, in frequency analyzer 10, thereby indicating the charging degree. As a result, existence of hollow parts in concrete can be confirmed, and a sure concrete material can be obtained.
