Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the continous production of couplins without any material loss by forming a blank flat plate which has beforehand been applied with tapping and the special threading corrugating, into pipe form.
CONSTITUTION: A flat part having undergone piercing and tapping 6 is formed in approximately right half portion of a blank flat plate and a corrugated part consisting of crest parts having thread parts 11 and through parts 9 is formed by rolling in the left half portion. Further, this blank is formed into a blank flat plate C cut with recesses 14... at one end and raised parts 13... on ther other. Thence, this blank flat plate C is bent to pipe form and the above-mentioned raised parts 13 are fitted into the recesses 14. These yield the coupling consisting of the thread- less coupling pipe part A and the threaded coupling pipe part B.
