Abstract
PURPOSE: To dispose waste water containing heavy metals by ion exchange and neutralizing action, by mixing disposing materials, which are obtained by processing natural fossil shells into powder, into plant waste water and so on to absorb heavy metals in waste water.
CONSTITUTION: Fossil shells are crushed and water of crystallization is removed by heat transment and are purified and processed into impalpable powder of a prescribed grain size. Meanwhile, mixing vessel 9 where this disposing material A should be supplied is provided in purification disposal tank 1. In this mixing vessel 9, such flow-in hole 10 is provided reticulately that water B to be disposed can be flowed in. Therefore, water B to be disposed is decomposed gradually in the flowing process in disposal tank 1, and neutralizing action is improved. Mixing vessels 9 and 9 can adjust the capacity of disposing material A properly according to objects and sewage components of water B to be disposed. Thus, the flow of water B to be disposed containing heavy metals such as copper, cadmium, and mercury is utilized to purify water B in the flowing process.
