PURPOSE:To enable the remote control of antenna tuning, by controlling the antenna circuit consisting of bent transmission conductor line and variable reactance circuit, with the signal converting the freqency set code into light and further into analog voltage. CONSTITUTION:The antenna circuit 1 consists of a pair of antenna elements 2a, 2b formed with distributed inductance of bending transmission conductor line, variable reactance circuits 4a, 4b having the varactor diodes D5a, 5b, and impedance adjusting capacitor connected between the power feeding elements 3a, 3b. On the other hand, the code produced with the frequency code generating section 14 of the control circuit 9 is converted at 15 into light code, and this light is received at the photodetector 10 of the control circuit 8, and it is converted 11 into electric signal and latched 12. This latched code is in D/A conversion 13, and the tuning control of the circuit 1 is made by applying this analog voltage to D5a, D5b. By installing the circuits 8, 9 at a location apart from the circuit 1, the remote control for antenna tuning can be made possible.
