Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the activity rate by repeatedly continuing operation a certain time after deciding whether an overcurrent state is caused by the breakthrough of a thyristor due to noises or by an actual accident.
CONSTITUTION: Once either of thyristors 37 and 38 turns on due to a noise, electric current detecting resistance 1 detects an overcurrent. Then, R-SFF43a is set. Next, the output of inverter 46 is held at "1" for the time determined by resistance 9 and capacitor 25. At this time, the set input of R-SFF43b never varies and the output of inverter 47 stays at "0". The output of OR circuit 50, therefore, changes and electromagnetic contactor 53 is opened for reclosing to check whether an overcurrent is detected again. On reclosing, transistor 40 turns off to charge capacitor 26. The overcurrent is not detected before the charging voltage reaches Vp of UJT42. Therefore, the charging voltage reaches Vp of UJT42 and R-SFF is reset to its normal state, so that converter 60 will continue the normal operation.
