The output of OR circuit 50, therefore, changes and electromagnetic contactor 53 is opened for reclosing to check whether an overcurrent is detected again. On reclosing, transistor 40 turns off to charge capacitor 26. The overcurrent is not detected before the charging voltage reaches Vp of UJT42. Therefore, the charging voltage reaches Vp of UJT42 and R-SFF is reset to its normal state, so that converter 60 will continue the normal operation.
