Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled foam with excellent moldability and physical property by means of a low-temperatur cure system, by the reaction of a polyol with an organic polyisocyanate in the presence of a sepcified dialkanolamine adduct.
CONSTITUTION: In the preparation of a soft or semisoft, flexible polyurethane foam by means of a low-temperature cure system at a temperature ≤100°C, by the reaction of (A) a polyol such as a polyether polyol or a polymer polyol, with (B) an organic polyisocyanate (e.g., tolylene diisocyanate or diphenylmethane diisocyanate), the purpose polyurethane foam is obtained in the presence of (C) 1W 20pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. of the (A) component, of dialkanolamine adduct with a polyvalent phenolpolyglycidyl ether (e.g., a polyglycidyl ether of catechol).
