Abstract
PURPOSE: In the wet-spinning of a solution of methylolated cellulose in dimethyl sulfoxide, a yarn that is in a specific regeneration and dampness condition is textured, then regenerated completely to produce the titled textured yarn with high bulkiness and good fiber properties.
CONSTITUTION: A solution of methylolated cellulose in dimethyl sulfoxide is subjected to wet spinning so that the regeneration or swelling degree of the resultant cellulosic yarn is controlled to be 0.05 in the methylolation and 0.5W3.5 in swelling degree where the sum of 10 times the methylolation degree and the swelling degree is over 3. Then, the resultant yarn is textured in a known method then regenerated completely to produce the objective textured yarn.
