Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce power for liquid honing by a method wherein a carrying direction for a material to be subjected to a grinding treatment is arranged to be vertical or slant, an advancing direction is arranged to be up or down, and an abrasive is supplied using a nozzle for a flat spray type high pressure fluid.
CONSTITUTION: A material 3 to be subjected to a grinding treatment such as a steel plate is carried in the vertical or approximately vertical direction, and the advancing direction can be selected in either direction from the upper to the lower or from the lower to the upper.
