Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a molded part from deformation and/or damage when it is taken out from the mold by a method wherein the outer part of the flange part of a molding cavity of a flanged molded part is formed by a special inclined face.
CONSTITUTION: In a lower mold 1 and an upper mold 2 to make a cavity 3 for molding a molded part 7 with a flange, the inside of the upper mold 2 is inclined outward as a point on the inside moves downward so that the outside 4 of the flange part 3a of the cavity 3 is inclined. The angle α of inclination is preferred to be 3°W10°. Accordingly, when the molded part is taken out from the mold, the flange part of the molded part can be prevented from being caught by the flank of the upper mold 2 and from being deformed.
