Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform checking work of soldered parts easily and accurately, by mixing fluorescent paint beforehand with a flux to be used in soldering the printed wirings on a printed substrate and the legs of electrically mounting parts.
CONSTITUTION: The legs 4 of an electrically mounting part 3 are projected down from the rear surface of a printed substrate 1 and are fixed thereto, after which the parts of the legs 2 and printed wirings 2 are immersed in a tank for molten flux consisting of rosin or the like, thence in a molten solder tank, whereby the printed wirings 2 and the legs 4 are soldered by melt-stuck parts 5. In this case, a slight amt. of fluorescent paint is beforehand mixed with the flux to be used. After the excess parts of the legs 4 are cut off, UV rays are irradiated to the flux layer 6 to generate a fluorescent color in the layer 6. From the difference in the reflection conditions of the light in the parts 5 thereunder and the parts other than these, the normality and abnormality of the parts 5 are checked easily and accurately.
