CONSTITUTION:A developing apparatus 19 is provided with a case 30, a cylindrical rotating body 31, and a magnet 32. The case 30 has an almost V-shaped cross section and is fitted along the axial direction of a photosensitive body 18. An outlet section 33 is installed at one side of the lower section of the case 30. A fitting section 36 which is fitted to, removed from, a pin 35A installed to the machine body 35, is installed to each of both side plates 34 of the case 30, and the fitting section 36 is fitted to the pin 35A of the machine body 35 when the developing apparatus is fitted to the machine body 35. Moreover, another pin 35 installed to the machine body 35 contacts to the side wall of the case 30 at the backside of the fitting section in the direction of length. The developing apparatus 19 is supported by the machine body 35 at three points, pins 35A and 35B and supporting rollers 37A and 37B.
