Abstract
PURPOSE:To assemble an upper end shield accurately without causing the inclination, and to reduce the cost by welding or integrally molding a center lead and the upper end for constituting an electron tube cathode structure. CONSTITUTION:An end shield 12 and a center lead 14 are first butted and welded integrally, then an upper shield 12 secured with said lead 14 and up-down positioner 21 are inserted sequentially into an end shield fitting hole 20a in an end shield positioner 20, thereafter a filament 1 is inserted into said positioner 21 and a lower end shield 3 secured with a side lead 5 is inserted into a fitting hole 20a. Then said positioner 20 is assembled with a seal part positioner 22 and fitted with a seal part 7 to be mounted with an insulator 6. Consequently the accuracy is improved and the cost is reduced.
