【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明ハ・新規なるテストステロン−５α−レダクター
ゼ阻害剤に関するものである。男性型の禿頭、粗毛症、
尋常性座癒、脂漏などの生理学」二の徴候は、代謝系に
男性ホルモンが過剰に蓄積されることに起因する男性ホ
ルモン刺激の増大に基づいていることが知られている。

て男性ホルモン活性の本体は、５α−ジヒドロテストス
テロンであり、これは標的器官においてテストステロン
がテストステロン−５α−レダクターゼにより還元され
ることによって生成することが周知になっている。その
ため、男性ホルモン刺激の増大に起因する男性型の禿頭
・粗毛症、尋常性座癒、脂漏など・の徴候は、テストス
テロン−５α−レダクターゼを阻害することにより低減
あるいは防止することができると考ちられ、テストステ
ロン−５α−レダクターゼを特異的に阻害するいくつか
の阻害剤が見出され〜また合成されてきた。例えば、黄
体ホルモンプロゲステロンはテストステロン−５α−レ
ダクターゼを大きく阻害することが周知綿、精力減退な
どの好ましくない作用が現われてくる。また、今までに
新規に合成された阻害剤は、ステロイド構造あるいはス
テロイド類似構造を持っており・やはり好ましくないホ
ルモン様作用を多少なりとも有しているという欠点があ
った。

テロン−６α−レダクターゼ阻害剤について鋭意研究を
重ねた結果・ トコフェリルキノンがテストステロン−
５α−レダクターゼを阻害することを見出し本発明を完
成するに致った。即ち、本発明は・ トコフェリルキノ
ンからなるテストステロン−５α−レダクターゼ阻害剤
である。本発明に使用するトコフェリルキノンは、α−
１β−１に−１およびδ−トフ７エリルキノンのｄ／体
、ｄ体、および１体である。
テロン−６α−レダクターゼ阻害剤について鋭意研究を
重ねた結果・ トコフェリルキノンがテストステロン−
５α−レダクターゼを阻害することを見出し本発明を完
成するに致った。即ち、本発明は・ トコフェリルキノ
ンからなるテストステロン−５α−レダクターゼ阻害剤
である。本発明に使用するトコフェリルキノンは、α−
１β−１に−１およびδ−トフ７エリルキノンのｄ／体
、ｄ体、および１体である。

トコフェリルキノンは、ビタミンＥであるトコフェロー
ルの生体内での主要な代謝物として知られており、ホル
モン様作用は一切持たず、また、他の好ましくない副作
用も有していない。

従って、本発明のトコフェリルキノンをテストステロン
