Polishing each sheet was troublesome and had low productivity. Furthermore, in the case of magnetic tapes, etc., a method is used in which a mirror polishing roll is pressed against the original magnetic sheet, but this method does not necessarily guarantee satisfactory polishing accuracy. I couldn't say that.

At least two polishing heads are arranged in parallel along the same line, and an abrasive sheet running in a direction opposite to the traveling direction between the heads and the raw fabric is pressed against the magnetic layer surface of the raw fabric by the polishing head. It consists in polishing.

It is easy to use, improves the productivity of magnetic disks, and has a superior smoothing effect compared to methods that press mirror-finishing rolls against each other. In addition, since a large number of polishing heads are used which are arranged in parallel in the running direction of the original magnetic sheet to press the polishing sheet,

It is sufficient that at least two of them are arranged in parallel with an interval of 0 to 50 fights. However, in terms of surface accuracy, it is more desirable. In addition, two or more guide rolls 8.8 are provided between the polishing heads, which are arranged in parallel along the running direction of the polishing sheet 7.7.

As a raw magnetic sheet, γ-Fe203 is applied to both sides of a polyester film as a binder consisting of a hydroxyl group-containing vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, an acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer, and a polyfunctional isocyanate compound.
Using a magnetic layer made by dispersing and binding powder,
Using a commercially available abrasive tape with alumina oxide abrasive powder as an abrasive sheet, a magnetic disk was obtained by the method shown in Figs. We investigated the incidence.
