Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は熱可塑性繊維シート１の表面に着色模様２ａ，
２ｂ・・・を施して輻射熱を照射し、着色模様２ａ ，
２ｂ・・・の吸熱差により熱可塑性繊維シート１に部
分的な発熱差を生ぜしめて溶融せしめることを特徴とす
る模様エンボス加工方法に係り、その目的とするところ
は簡単に模様と合致してしかも深さが模様に応じて異な
るエンボスを施し得る模様エンボス加工方法を提供する
にある。
以下本発明を添付図に基づいて詳細に説明する。
まずポリ塩化ビニル、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン等
のニードルパンチカーペット、織布、不織布等熱可塑性
繊維シ一ト１の表面に第１図のように濃淡、色調等の異
なるインクにて着色模様２ａ、２ｂ，２ｃを施す。
次いでこの熱可塑性繊維シ一ト１の表面に輻射熱発生装
置で赤外線のような輻射熱を一定時間照射する。
この場合、熱可塑性繊維シート１の着色模様２ａ，２ｂ
，２ｃが施された部分はインクの濃淡、色調に応じて吸
熱量が異なり、受熱差に応じて熱可塑性繊維シート１の
発熱に部分的な差が生じ、そのために生じた温度差によ
り溶融速度、溶融状態に差が生じる。
いま吸熱量を非印刷部３く着色模様２ａ＜２ｂ＜２ｃと
すると、非印刷部３は温度が低いために溶融せず、着色
部は温度差により溶融進行状態に差が生じ、第２図のよ
うに陥没の深さが着色模様２ａ＜２ｂ２ｃとなり、エン
ボス模様が施される。
着色模様は勿論第１図のような花柄の他、縞模様や幾何
学模様等任意である。
本発明にあっては上述のように熱可塑性繊維シートの表
面に着色模様を施して輻射熱を照射し、着色模様の吸熱
差により熱可塑性繊維シートの表面に部分的な発熱差を
生ぜしめて溶融せしめるので、印刷後単に輻射熱の照射
のみで複雑な柄でも着色模様と正確に合致し、しかも着
色模様が複数色の場合にはその濃淡、色調等に応じて深
さの異なる谷染めエンボスを簡単に凹設せしめ得る利点
がある。
以下本発明を実施例に基づいて具体的に説明する。
実施例 ポリプロピレンのニードルパンチカーペットの表面に濃
淡が３段階に異なる着色模様を印刷したのち、１００゜
Ｃ程度の赤外線を照射したところ、着色模様を施した部
分が濃淡の程度に応じて溶融陥没深さが３段階に変化し
たエンボスが着色模様と合致して得られた。

て、１は熱可塑性繊維シート、２ａ ， ２ｂは着色模
様を示す。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 熱可塑性繊維シートの表面に着色模様を施して輻射
    熱を照射し、着色模様の吸熱差により熱可塑性繊維シー
    トに部分的な発熱差を生ぜしゆて溶融せしめることを特
    徴とする模様エンボス加工方法。
