Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 従来の自動二輪車用エンジンでは、オイルフィルターを
クランクケースの前部に配設していたが、クランクケー
スの前部には、エキゾーストパイプが自己管されており
オイルフィルタ−ケーシング外面に付着した泥を掃除す
る場合多大の労力を必要とした。
マタフィルターケーシングがクランクケースの前方へ突
出していた＼め、外観的なデザインが制約される。
本発明はこのような難点を克服した自制二輪車の内燃機
関の改良に係り、その目的とする処は、フィルターを目
につかない位置に配置し掃除を不用にすると＼もに、外
観の優れた内燃機関を供する点にある。
以下図面に図示された本発明の一実施例について説明す
る。
１は自動二輪車用二気筒Ｖ型４サイクルガソリンエンジ
ンで、同エンジン１では、クランク軸が横方向に指向し
、シリンダー２が前後にＶ型に配置されている。
またクランクケース３のクランク軸の中心４より後方に
位置してオイルポンプ７が配設され、同オイルポンプ７
の吸入口に連通したオイルストレーナ８は、クランクケ
ース３のオイルパン５内に貯溜されたオイル６に浸漬さ
れ、前記オイルポンプ７の吐出口はオイルフィルター９
に接続されている。
しかして前記オイルパン５内に貯溜されたオイル６の標
準油面６ａに前記オイルフィルター９の一部が浸漬され
る高さに、同オイルフィルター９は設置されている。
また前記オイルフィルター９は図示されないオイル通路
を介してエンジン１の各潤滑部に接続されている。
図示の実施例は前記したように構成されているので、エ
ンジンｌが運転状態になると、オイルポンプ７も稼動状
態となり、オイルパン５内のオイル６はオイルストレー
ナ８よりオイルポンプ７を介してオイルフィルター９内
に送られ、同オイルフィルター９内でオイル６は三嵐過
され、エンジン】の各潤滑部に供給される。
またオイルフィルター９は、シリンダー２やエキゾース
トパイプ１０等の高温に加熱される部分より離れたクラ
ンクケース３の後部に配設されている。さらにオイルフ
ィルター９の外面の泥落しが川 不要となる。
またオイルフィルター９はクランクケース３の後方に位
置しているため、エンジンの外観に関するデザインが自
由になる。
さらにクランクシャフト中心４より後方にあるオイルポ
ンプ７にオイルフィルター９が近いため、オイル通路が
短かく簡単となり、コスト低減に役立つ。
３− ９・・・オイルフィルター、１ｏ・・・エキゾーストパ
イプへ本発明は前記したようにクランクケースの車体後
方にオイルフィルターを配役［７た＼め、オイルフィル
ターに付着した泥を掃除する必要がなく、外観］−重要
なエンジン前部をすっきりと洗練した形状に形成するこ
とができ、エンジン前部の外観デザインの自由度を増加
させることができる。
以上本発明を図面に図示された実施例について詳細に説
明したが、本発明はこのような実施例に限定されること
なく、本発明の精神を逸脱しない範囲内で必要に応じて
適宜自由に設計の改変を施しうるものである。
