Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は一方向性クラッチの構造の改良に関するもので
ある。
従来の一方向性クラッチは駆動時回転力を伝達するロー
ラ1個に、対して、1個のローラを常時駆動方向と逆方
向に押圧して連結させるスプリングが必要であった。そ
してローラはカム室内で常時押圧されているため内径が
窮屈でスプリングを圧縮しながらでないと内径への組付
を行なうことができなかった。
本発明は一方向性クラッチの組付性向上と部品点数の低
減を目的としている。
すなわち、環状で下面に1箇所以上の突起を設けたりテ
ナと、このリテナの突起に取付りる中空のローラと、こ
のローラがはいるカム室を設け、リテナと回動するアウ
タとを備えた一方向性クラッチにおいて、リテナとアウ
タとに受は面を設けその間にあって上記リテナの受は面
を押圧し、ローラをカム室の駆動方向と逆方向の壁へ押
圧する弾性体を備えたものである。。
以下本発明を図に示すスタータに適用した実施例につい
て説明する。第1図はアウタ1の平面図である。アウタ
1は内周にスプリング4の受は面1aを2箇所と、アー
マチャシャフトを通す穴の周囲に、駆動方向と反対側が
狭(なったカム室1bを数個設けている。又、アウタ1
は第5図の全体の断面図に示すねじれスプライン1cで
図示せぬアーマチャシャフトと駆動方向にかみ合う。第
2図はリテナ2の平面図である。リテナ2は環状をして
内縁下面にローラ3を取付ける数個の突起2aを設け、
外縁にスプリング4の受は面2bを2箇所上方へ折曲げ
て設けている。第3図はアウタ1の内周ヘリテナ2を組
付けた状態であり、第4図は組付時のカム室1bの詳細
図で破線はローラ3がカム室1bの広い側へ移った状態
で見やず(するためリテナ2を省略しである。ローラ3
は中空の円筒で突起2aにはまり、リテナ2の回転に対
して径方向に多少動く余裕を設けている。スプリング4
は受は面1a、2bの間にあって常時リテナ2を押圧し
ている。ピニオン5はローラ3がカム室1bの狭い側に
あるときリテナ2と連結し、ローラ3が広い側にあると
き空転する。
次に上記構成においてその作動を説明する。初期状態に
おいてリテナ2はスプリング4に押圧されているので突
起2aにはめであるローラ3はカム室1bの狭くなった
側、すなわち駆動方向と反対側に押圧されてピニオン5
を連結している。スタータを始動すると図示せぬアーマ
チャシャフトとねじれスプラインICがかみ合ってピニ
オン5が前進し図示せぬリングギヤと結合する。そして
アーマチャシャフトの回転はねしれスプラインICから
アウタ1に伝達され、次にローラ3にてピニオン5と連
結したリテナ2へ伝達されて、ピニオン5がリングギヤ
を回し、エンジンを起動させる。
エンジンが着火してリングギヤに回されるピニオン5の
回転がアウタ1の回転より速くなるとスプリング4を縮
めてそれまでカム、室1bの狭い側に押圧されていたロ
ーラ3は第4図の破線で示すカム室1bの広い側へ移っ
てピニオン5の連結が。
はどかれる。こうしてピニオン5は連結がほどかれて空
転するためスタータはオーバランすることはない。そし
てピニオン5がリングギヤと離脱してピニオン5の回転
が低くなるとスプリング4の押圧で再びローラ3がカム
室1bの狭い側の壁に押圧され、ピニオン5を連結して
初期状態に復帰する。
上記実施例の組付構造はローラ3の個数よりスプリング
4の個数が少なく、スプリング4の組付を後にして第4
図破線で示すようローラ3をカム室1bの広い側に寄せ
れば内径が広くなってピニオン5の挿入が容易になる。
又、突起2aの1個当りかかる力は1 kg程度なので
鉄材であれは充分である。
なお、本発明の他の実施例として次のようなものがある
スプリング4を渦巻状のもの以外に板ハネを使用したも
のとする。
スプリング4の受は面1aをアウタ1のカム室1bのな
い部分に掘り下げ、受は面2bを突起2aと同し側に設
けたものとする。
アウタ1とリテナ2の位置を入れ換えたものとする。す
なわちピニオン5と固定した部分にカム室1bを設け、
アウタ1のある場所にローラ3を取付けたリテナ2を設
けたものとする。
又、本発明の一方向性クラ・ノチはスタータ以外にも使
用可能である。
以上述べたように本発明によればローラを押圧する弾性
体の個数かローラの個数より少な(て済み、かつローラ
を常時押圧するスプリングの組付を後にして内径の広い
状態で内径へのパーツ組付作業ができるため部品点数低
減、組付性向上という優れた効果がある。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 環状で下面に1箇所以上の突起を設けたりテナと、この
    リテナの突起に取付ける中空のローラと、このローラを
    入れるカム室を設け、前記リテナと回動するアウタとを
    備えた一方向性クラッチにおいて、前記リテナと前記ア
    ウタとに設けた受は面の間にあり常時前記リテナの受は
    面を押圧し前記ローラを前記アウタのカム室内で駆動方
    向とは逆方向の壁に押圧する弾性体を備えた一方向性ク
    ラッチ。
