Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 円筒状の゛シェルを、これを同心的に挿通させた固定状
    のシャフトに回転自在に支持させ、該両者の対向周面間
    に、圧力媒体が圧入される軸線方向に延びる加圧室を区
    画形設しであるロールにおいて、該加圧室の周方向両端
    部を軸線方向に沿って遮蔽シールするシール装置であっ
    て、前記シャフト側に、軸線方向に延び前記シェルの内
    周面方向゛へ開口する第１圧力室を設けると共に該第１
    圧力室内に前記加圧室に圧入される圧力゛媒体とは別の
    圧力媒体を圧入させるための圧入通路を設け、前記第１
    圧力室の開口部に、軸線方向に延び上下壁部の先端をシ
    ェルの内周面に接触させた断面コ字状のシール体を、シ
    ェルの径方向に摺動可能に嵌挿支持させて、第１圧力室
    をシール体でもって閉塞し、前記シール体に、該シール
    体内にシェルの内周面でもって閉塞形成された第２圧力
    室と前記第１圧力室とを連通させる連通孔を形成しであ
    ることを特徴とする、ロールにおけるシール装置。
