５・・・制御部、６・・・出力選択部、７・・・制御デ
ータ付加部、８・・・出力端子、９・・・ライン同期信
号入力端子。 補正　昭５７．１２．２０ 実用新案登録請求の範囲を次のように補正する。 Ｏ実用新案登録請求の範囲 （１）未符号化データを入力する入力手段と、前記入力
された未符号化データをランレングス符号化する符号化
手段と、符号化データのビット数を単位ブロック毎にカ
ウントするカウント手段と、このカウント手段における
カウント結果が予め定められたビット数より大となった
ことを検出する検出手段と、この検出手段の検出結果に
応じて次の単位ブロックからは符号化データを出力する
か未符号化データを出力するか選択する出力選択手段と
を備えて成ることを特徴とする符号化処理装置。 （２）実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載において、未
符号化データをそのまま出力しているときにも符号化処
理とその符号化データのビット数のカウント処理はその
まま継続させ、単位ブロックのカウント数が前記予め定
められよビット数より小のときは次の単位ブロックから
符号化データを出力させることを特徴とする符号化処理
装置。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）未符号化データを入力する入力手段と、前記入力
    された未符号化データをランレングス符号化する符号化
    手段と、符号化データのビット数を単位ブロック毎にカ
    ウントするカウント手段と、このカウント手段における
    カウント結果が予め定められたビット数より大となった
    ことを検出する検出手段と、この検出手段の検出結果に
    応じて次の単位ブロックは符号化データを出力するか未
    符号化データを出力するか選択する出力選択手段とを備
    えてなることを特徴とする符号化処理装置。
  2. （２）　　実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載において
    、未符号化データをそのまま出力しているときにも符号
    化処理とその符号化データのビット数のカウント処理は
    そのまま継続させ、単位ブロックのカウント数が前記予
    め定められたビット数より小のときは次の単位ブロック
    から符号化データを出力させることを特徴とする符号化
    処理装置。
