Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ａ　産業上の利用分野 本発明は、車両の前輪懸架装置に関するものである。
ｂ　従来技術 従来、第１図に示されるよう・Ｋロアーコントロールア
ーム１の外端２にサスペンションストラット３の下端を
ピボットし、このサスペンションストラツ）３に直接車
輪支持部材を取り付けたマクファーソンストラット式の
懸架装置がある。
しかし、第２図に示すように、上記従来の懸架装置は、
サスペンションストラット３の下端をピボットするボー
ルジヨイント部４が、このようにサスペンションストラ
ット３の下端にあるため、最低地上高をタイヤ５０半径
以上とすることは極めて困難であった。
Ｃ発明の目的 本発明は、上記事情に鑑みてなされたもので、マクファ
ーソンストラット式の前輪懸架装置において、サスペン
ションスト２ツトとロアーコントロールアームとの連結
部を、車軸上方に設けた前輪懸架装置を提供するもので
ある。
ｄ　発明の構成 以下に添付図面に示した実施例を参照しながら本発明を
説明する。
第３図（ａ）、（ｂ）は、本発明に係る前輪懸架装置の
実施例を示し、図において、６はサスペンションストラ
ット、７はロアーコントロールアーム、８は車輪支持部
である。サスペンションストラツ）６１７ま下部に節状
部９を備える°。
ロアーコントロールアーム７は押え部７ａと本体７ｂに
２分割されており、これら押え部７ａと本体７ｂの凹部
７ａ′、７ｂ′で上記節状部９を摺動自在に挾持する。
なお、押え部７ａは本体７ｂにボルト１（１，１０によ
って固定される。
ロアーコントロールアーム７の他端および、サスペンシ
ョンストラット６の上端ｉｌｌ　車体１１に装着される
。
ｅ　発明の作用 上記実施例の本発明に係る前輪懸架装置はロアーコント
ロールアーム７の位置をキングピンの位置と無関係に設
定し、車軸１２よりもこのロアーコントロールアーム７
を上方に位置させておシ、最低地上高がタイヤ１３の半
径以上となっている。よって、不整地走行にお３− ４・・・・・・ボールジヨイント部、 いても、車体が地面と接触することを防止する。
また、上記実施例の前輪懸架装置は、節状部９を押え部
７ａと本体７ｂＫよって挾持するので、従来のボールジ
ヨイントに比ベラシアル荷重に対して強い。
ｆ　発明の効果 上記のように、本発明に係る前輪懸架装置は、ロアーコ
ントロールアームが車軸よりも上方にあるので、最低地
上高を高くすることができ、走行性が著しく向上する。

  1. マクファーソンストラット式の前輪懸架装置において、
    サスペンションストラットとロアーコントロールアーム
    との連結部を、車軸上方に設けたことを特徴とする前輪
    懸架装置。
