Structure of conventional examples and their problems Conventionally, in order to manufacture this type of decorative material, resin liquid is injected into a wood veneer under reduced pressure, increased pressure, or reduced pressure in a closed container such as an injection pot, and then coloring is performed. A known method is to place and bond the resin-injected wood veneer onto a plate-like base material coated with an adhesive, but this method involves injecting resin into the wood veneer, solidifying process, and colored plate-like base material. Since the adhesion process is a separate process,
The manufacturing process requires considerable time and effort, and the resin injection process is performed in a closed container such as an injection pot, resulting in the following problems.

On the other hand, opaque colored backing materials include colored synthetic resin sheets, synthetic resin boards, paper, vapor-deposited films, metal sheets, or colored coating or coating on the surface of organic or inorganic plate-like materials such as synthetic resin sheets, synthetic resin boards, vapor-deposited films, and synthetic boards, particle boards, and silica boards. A material with an opaque colored layer provided by pasting a colored sheet is used, and such colored backing material is selected depending on the properties of the decorative material to be obtained, and the thickness is variable. Not particularly limited. Note that the base color may be used as is, like a metal sheet.

The thin wood plates that are superimposed and integrated between the colored backing material and the transparent sheet may be thin wood plates of any species, such as conifers or hardwoods, but they may be made transparent by press-fitting a resin liquid. A thin plate with an upper thickness of 0.6 mm or less is used.

In other words, when a thin wood board is sliced to a thickness of 0.6 mm or less, a portion of the conduit or tracheid passes through the thin board from the front surface to the back surface, which improves air permeability and resin liquid permeability. This is because the coating layer of the resin liquid can be pressed onto the surface of the thin plate using a pressure plate and can be sufficiently penetrated from the surface to the inside.

In addition, when obtaining a flexible decorative material, it is preferable to use a synthetic resin liquid that has appropriate flexibility after curing; for example, in the case of a thermosetting resin, it is preferable to It is possible to use resins produced by blending or reaction conditions such that the resin exhibits the desired properties, or resins that are imparted with flexibility by adding a plasticizer.

Among the above methods, if a synthetic resin liquid is applied to a transparent sheet and the coated layer of the synthetic resin liquid is superimposed on a thin wood board, the transparent sheet absorbs almost no synthetic resin liquid compared to a thin wood board, so the resin liquid It is possible to apply a layer with a uniform thickness and polymerize it with the thin wood board, making it easy to adjust the coating thickness of the resin liquid layer, achieving uniform transparency, and making it possible to coat the thin wood board. It is easier to handle when stacking resin layers because it is less likely to cause cracks in the sheet than when handling it by applying it, and the cosmetic properties are also stable because air does not enter the interface between the thin wood board and the transparent sheet. You get what you get.

In addition, the amount of synthetic resin liquid applied depends on the performance required for the reinforced wood thin board, such as water resistance, abrasion resistance, weather resistance, etc.
The thickness of the reinforcing layer depends on the tensile strength, etc., and the degree of transparency,
Although it is difficult to make a general statement because it varies depending on the resin amount distribution or impregnated amount, it is sufficient to apply the amount as long as it is sufficient to fill the voids inside the thin wood board and make the spring material transparent. For example,
If it is a thin wood board with a thickness of 0.2 to 0.6 fins, 150~
A coating amount of 450 g/i is sufficient.

In this way, the thin wood board is placed between the transparent sheet and the opaque colored backing material via the synthetic resin liquid layer, and then inserted between a pair of upper and lower heating press plates and compressed by the hot press platen. The resin liquid pressure is increased at the same time as the synthetic resin liquid is sufficiently compressed.

Under this condition, the temperature of the resin liquid is gradually raised using a hot platen to lower the viscosity of the resin liquid, and the resin liquid is press-fitted from the surface of the thin wood board toward the inside.

Here, the resin liquid is press-fitted into most of the cell cavities of the thin wood board, but if the heating method or resin composition is such that the viscosity of the resin liquid drops rapidly, the resin liquid will flow into the minute voids in the thin wood board. As a result, not only can the resin liquid not be sufficiently press-fitted into the thin wood board, but also the hot press platen and pressure equipment may be contaminated with the resin liquid. It is necessary to adjust the viscosity.

In addition, the pressurizing force of the hot pressing plate, the pressurizing schedule, and the temperature rise rate of the resin liquid are determined by the amount of voids in the thin wood board, the size of the voids, the length of the voids, the thickness of the resin press-in, the viscosity change depending on the temperature of the resin solution, and the resin Determine by taking into account the surface tension and fluidity of

The pressurizing method and device may be either a commonly used flat plate press or a continuous press, and the pair of upper and lower pressurizing plates may be metal plates as long as they can uniformly transmit pressure to the resin liquid. Further, a method for heating the resin liquid is to directly heat the disk body with heated steam, heated oil, or an electric heater, and use this heat to raise the temperature of the resin liquid through a suitable material.
Although the plate body may be used as a hot platen as mentioned above,
Alternatively, the plate may be used as a pressure plate, and heating may be performed by directly increasing the temperature of the resin liquid using high frequency waves or electromagnetic waves.

Depending on the wood species, cell diameter, moisture content, void volume, resin composition, etc. of the thin wood board, it may be difficult for the resin liquid to enter.
In such cases, a synthetic resin liquid layer is placed between the thin wood board and the transparent sheet and polymerized, and the backing material is made of a breathable material such as non-woven fabric, paper, or wood board. By doing so, it is possible to improve the escape of air in the voids of the thin wood board through the backing material, and to perform uniform resin press-fitting.

In this way, the synthetic resin liquid press-filled into the voids of the thin wood board is solidified as it is between the pressure plates, or it is taken out from the pressure plate and solidified by appropriate means such as heating or cooling.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the method for producing a reinforced decorative material of the present invention includes a thin wood board between a transparent sheet and a colored backing material, and a coating sufficient to make at least the spring wood portion of this thin wood board transparent. This is placed between the upper and lower pressure plates and pressurized by the pressure plate. At the same time, the thin wood board, the transparent sheet, and the colored backing material are integrated to form the thin wood board. Since the spring wood part is made transparent and the color of the colored backing material is made to appear through the transparent sheet and the spring wood part, as in the past, a synthetic resin liquid is applied to the thin wood board in advance by applying reduced pressure or pressure. Without going through the complicated process of injecting honey and solidifying it in another process, the synthetic resin liquid was injected into at least most of the cell cavities of the thin wood board using vertical pressure plates, making the thin wood board transparent and strengthening it at the same time. It is possible to obtain a wood decorative material, simplify the process, and significantly reduce manufacturing costs.

In addition, it is now possible to continuously perform various processes such as applying resin liquid to thin wood boards, transparent sheets, and backing materials, laminating the thin wood boards, transparent sheets, and backing materials, and integrating them using upper and lower pressure plates. At the same time, wood thin plates of a certain size are continuously fed between pressure plates through a backing material, and then a long transparent sheet, etc. is fed out, and then integrated under heat and pressure using a resin liquid to form a continuous strip. It is also possible to obtain decorative materials.

In addition, since the resin liquid layer can be placed and handled only on thin wood boards, transparent sheets, and backing materials, equipment, etc. will not be contaminated with resin liquid as in conventional injection methods, and work can be carried out smoothly. In addition, since the process from applying the synthetic resin liquid to press-fitting and solidifying can be done in a short time, it is also possible to use resins with short potripes, giving you a wider range of options for selecting resins that suit the intended use. be.

The wood decorative materials obtained in this way can be used for many purposes, such as floor materials, furniture surface materials, wall materials, ceiling materials, etc., and can also be used as decorative materials for screens, lighting, etc. It can be used alone, and since both sides are reinforced with sheets, it has excellent flexibility, so it can be continuously molded and bonded to the surface of a member molded at a predetermined angle or curvature. In addition, the widely known cutting method involves pasting this reinforced wood decorative material on the base material with the transparent sheet on the front side and cutting it, or using a plate-like material as the backing material. This is possible by making a V cut on the back side, and the transparent sheet on the front side prevents the thin wood board from cracking at the bending part, allowing for good bending.
