A suction port 10 is provided at the bottom of the dehydration tank boss 9 and the recess 3 for sucking water between the outer tank 1 and the dehydration tank 2 into the pump chamber 7 by the pump action of the back blade 6 when the rotor blade 5 rotates. There is. A bearing case 11 for the rotor shaft 4 and the dehydration tank shaft 8, and a drive motor 12 for rotating the rotor blade 5 and the dehydration tank 2 are attached to the back surface of the outer tank 1. It is suspended from the top of the frame in a vibration-proof manner. The side wall of the dehydration tank 2 has a substantially octagonal prism shape, consisting of an arcuate wall 2' and a planar bulging wall 2'' that bulges inward, as shown in FIG. 2, in order to improve the cleaning efficiency.

A groove 13 communicating with the pump chamber 7 is formed from the bottom of the dehydration tank to the upper end of the bulging wall 2''.
3 is a pump chamber 7 covered with a synthetic resin waterway cover 14.
It is a part 15' of the discharge waterway 15. At the upper end of the dehydration tank 2, a hollow annular balance ring 17 containing a liquid 16, which acts as a fluid balancer, is attached. A portion 15'' of the discharge waterway 15 whose end 18 opens toward the inside of the dehydration tank is formed. That is, recesses 19 and 20 are formed in a portion of the outer peripheral wall and the upper wall of the balance ring 17, respectively.
are provided in succession, and the recessed portions 19 and 20 are covered with a cover 21 to form a water channel 15''.The other end 18 of this water channel becomes the outlet of the discharge channel 15, and this outlet 18 serves as a washing outlet. The waterway cover 14 is positioned above the water level. As shown in FIG. At the upper end, the main body 14'' comes into contact with the inner surface of a locking step 17'' provided downward at the lower part of the balance ring 17, and as a result, the upper part of the water channel cover 14 is located between the dewatering tank 2 and the balance ring 17. It is held in place. Also,
The water channel cover 14 is integrally provided with a pump chamber cover 24 having an opening 22 having a diameter B smaller than the inner diameter A of the pump chamber 7 and covering the peripheral edge 23 of the rotor blade 5 (FIG. 1). The connection between the pump chamber cover 24 and the water channel cover 14 is a thin hinge 25, and the lower part of the water channel cover 14 is attached to the bottom of the dehydration tank with screws 26, and the pump chamber cover 24 is integrally provided on the lower surface thereof. It is elastically attached to the bottom of the dehydration layer by a plurality of elastic attachment pieces 27. The pump chamber cover 24 can be removed from the dewatering tank 2 and rotated about the hinge 25 without tools, so that the inside of the pump chamber 7 can be easily cleaned. Further, in the communication portion of the discharge waterway 15 with the pump chamber 7, a partitioning rib 28 is provided projecting from the bottom of the dewatering tank or the saw body to divide the communication portion into two.

In the structure described above, when the rotary blade 5 rotates during washing, the water between the outer tank 1 and the dewatering tank 2 flows from the suction port 10 to the pump chamber 7 as shown by the arrow in FIG. 1 due to the pumping action of the back blade 6. A portion of this sucked water exits into the dehydration tank through the gap C between the opening 22 of the pump chamber cover and the rotor 5, but most of the water flows into the outer periphery of the pump chamber where the pressure is high. The water is fed into the discharge waterway 15 which is open to the water, and is discharged from the discharge port 18 toward the center of the dehydration tank as shown by the arrow.

As a result, the washing water flow becomes a complicated turbulent flow due to the horizontal rotation by the rotary blades and the water discharged from the discharge port 18, and the laundry D is frequently changed from top to bottom. Since the water falls, the laundry above does not swell up with air and remain floating on the washing water and not be washed, which eliminates uneven washing and improves the washing rate.

The reason why the peripheral edge 23 of the rotary blade 5 is covered with the pump chamber cover 24 is to minimize the amount of water sucked into the pump chamber 7 that flows out into the dehydration tank 2, and to collect as much water as possible. This is to allow the pumping fluid to flow to the discharge waterway 15, and the same effect can be obtained even if the peripheral edge 23 is not covered with the pump chamber cover 24 as shown in FIG.

The partition ribs 28 are also used to reduce eddy flow in the communication area between the discharge waterway 15 and the pump chamber 7, so that as much water as possible can flow smoothly to the discharge waterway 15, as shown in FIG. It is more effective if only E protrudes into the chamber 7. In FIG. 3, the pump chamber cover 24 and the water channel cover 14 are separate bodies. Here, the amount of water discharged from the discharge port 18 is set to be larger than the amount of water discharged between the dehydration tank 2 and the outer tank 1 from the dehydration hole 29 provided on the side wall of the dehydration tank, as shown in FIG. By raising the water level in the dehydration tank and lowering the water level between the dehydration tank and the outer tank, the water between the dehydration tank and the outer tank can effectively contribute to washing.

In addition, the discharge waterway 15 is connected to a dewatering tank 2 in order to improve the cleaning rate.
By providing it along the outside of the bulging wall 2'' formed on the side wall of the tank, the expanded space between the outside of the bulging wall 2'' and the outer tank 1 can be effectively utilized, without increasing the diameter of the outer tank. In both cases, the dehydration tank will not vibrate and hit the outer tank during dehydration.

Since a portion 15'' of this discharge waterway 15 is provided in the balance ring 17, this waterway 15'' acts as a resistance to the movement of liquid within the balance ring, and serves to prevent rapid movement of liquid. ing. Further, if the water discharged from the discharge port is discharged into the dehydration tank through a lint filter, lint in the water can be easily removed. Since the washing water flow is made complicated by discharging water from the outlet located above the washing water level toward the dehydration tank, the laundry is frequently changed from top to bottom, which eliminates uneven washing and improves the washing rate. can. In addition, the discharge waterway that sends the liquid sucked into the pump chamber to the discharge port is formed by a concave groove along the outside of the bulging wall provided on the side wall of the dehydration tank and its cover in order to improve the cleaning efficiency. The space between the outside of the bulging wall and the outer tank can be effectively utilized, and the dehydration tank will not vibrate and hit the outer tank during dehydration without increasing the diameter of the outer tank.

Furthermore, the waterway cover is stopped at the top and bottom to suppress water leakage from the waterway and maintain the discharge force, and the use of a balance ring as the stopper structure simplifies installation.
