考案に係るホット・ロールと安全装置の温度特性を従来
のものと比較した説明図、第７図は本考案に係る定着装
置の安全装置の２つの実施例の説明図、第８図は本考案
に係る定着装置の安全装置の他の実施例の説明図、第９
図は本考案に係る定着装置の安全装置を他の定着装置に
適用した説明図である。 １．２はホット・ロール、３は熱源、９．９′はサーモ
スイッチ、１０はバイメタル、１１は可動ビン、１２．
１３は電極、１４．１５は外部端子、１７．１７’はキ
ャップ、２２は駆動ロール、２４．２５はベルト、２３
は加熱ヒータである。

Claims (4)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）電子写真装置等の画像形成装置に用いられる加熱
    型定着装置に於いて、異常昇温時に加熱装置への電力の
    供給を遮断する様な安全装置を具備するに当り該安全装
    置の、該加熱装置内の加熱器へ対向する面の曲率を該加
    熱装置内の加熱器の曲率より大として対向面に凹部を設
    け、該曲率部分の両側を加熱器に部分当接させた事を特
    徴とする加熱定着装置用安全装置。
  2. （２）安全装置がバイメタルの感熱変位を応用したサー
    モスイッチである事る特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範
    囲第１項記載の加熱定着装置用の安全装置。
  3. （３）安全装置の１つであるサーモスイッチの加熱器と
    対向する面の外周部はその曲率を加熱器の曲率と同等と
    し、内面の曲率は加熱器の曲率より凹部を形成し、該サ
    ーモスイッチの加熱器へ対向する面の外周部のみを加熱
    器に当接させた事を特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲
    第１様項又は第２項記載の加熱定着装置用安全装置。
  4. （４）サーモスイッチの加熱器と対向する面の曲率を加
    熱器の曲率より大とし、対向面の外周部あるいはその一
    部のみを加熱器に当接させる様にし尚かつ対向面の接触
    部のみオフセットしにくい材（テフロン等）をコーティ
    ングした事を特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項
    乃至第３項のいずれかに記載の加熱定着装置用安全装置
    。
