- 燃焼室副室を構成するセラミツク部材と、該セ
ラミツク部材を内部に収容して担持する金属スリ
ーブとを備え前記金属スリーブはシリンダヘツド
に形成された凹部に収容されるとともに金属スリ
ーブ外面と前記シリンダヘツド壁面との間には、
一定の断熱空間が設けられたエンジンの副室構造
であつて、前記金属スリーブ上端部は前記セラミ
ツク部材の肩部より上方に突出して対応して前記
凹部上端の周縁に設けられた溝部に凹嵌し、この
突出部の外周面が前記溝部壁面と圧接しているこ
とを特徴とするエンジンの副室構造。
